the Warehouse is about to get sweeter with the addition of Piedaho Bakery

Have you ever seen something that was almost too pretty to eat? Piedaho Bakery whips up handmade pies that are uniquely decorated using the best local ingredients, so they always taste as good as they look.

What started out as a simple love for baking turned into a food blog for Piedaho owner Rebecca Bloom. After moving to Idaho her passion for pies grew thanks to the nearby farmers who produced the sweetest berries, ripest peaches and tastiest fruits to complement her carefully curated crust. Piedaho Bakery began as a way for Rebecca to be creative with her art and sell the pies through social media.

Piedaho bakes pies, decorates each one by hand and flash freezes them before shipping them off to family kitchens across the country. Now, Boise pie lovers don’t need to order off social media as these pies are making their way to The Warehouse Food Hall.

What does your business do?

We make hand made artisanal pies with high quality ingredients that are as beautiful as they are delicious. We also shop anywhere in the United States.

How did you get started?

Piedaho began from a childhood love of pie and baking. What began as a food blog with my mother, evolved when we moved our young family to Idaho in 2018, which grew into a strong passion for pie! Inspired by the local fruit and the artful pies on social media, I wanted to make pies that were first and foremost, delicious. It took a while to perfect our crust! I wanted to bring the art of pie and beautiful unique designs into everyone’s homes.

What would you say is unique about your business?

Our pies are delicious AND beautiful. We are the only pie company where you can actually buy the pies you see on Instagram.

At The Warehouse, it’s going to be all about “experience” and “adventure”. What do those words mean to you? What does the word “food hall” mean to you?

Adventure is always being open to anything. Trying things, experimenting, failing and finding! Experience is making anything you do multi-sensory. A food hall is a place where you get to taste and try all kinds of unique food items in one place!
