Looking for something healthy that’s both delicious and refreshing? Heidi and Nate Myers were, too, so they brought Rush Bowls to Boise’s North End in 2019, where they serve all-natural fruit bowls, acai bowls and smoothies.
Rush Bowls was founded in Boulder, CO, in 2004, but Heidi, a former fitness instructor, and Nate, a pharmacist, loved the idea of bringing healthy food to their community. A great addition to The Warehouse Food Hall, Rush Bowl’s filling and nutritious bowls and smoothies are an ideal option when you want something fresh in a pinch.
We wanted to get to know Rush Bowls better, so we asked Heidi a few questions about her business and The Warehouse. Check it out.
What would you say is unique about your business?
We serve crave-able healthy options for dine-in, takeout and delivery that are unlike anything else on the market. We use whole ingredients and cater to nearly all dietary restrictions and preferences at no extra cost.
The Warehouse is going to be all about experience and adventure. What do those two words mean to you?
These two words, used both separately and together, create a powerful reaction, which is what we’re all about at Rush Bowls. We don’t want you to just eat our products, we want you to experience the Rush lifestyle every time you walk in our stores, see us on social media or enjoy one of our famous bowls or smoothies. We want each bite to take you on an adventure to the beach or the top of a mountain. We love that The Warehouse’s values align so closely with what we try to create at each of our storefronts – a “must do” type of place to go. It’s not just a place to grab a bite. It’s an adventure. It’s exciting. The atmosphere will be unforgettable and create a fun place to meet friends and family for a night downtown.
What does a food hall mean to you?
Flexibility. A picky eater’s heaven. Bringing people together and everyone can pick their choice of food without stressing about suiting everyone’s preferences. Taking the headache out of planning a night out with friends and family. No awkward “where do you want to go eat” convos going on. Let’s just go to the FOOD HALL! Boom. Everyone is happy.
Why do you want to be a part of The Warehouse?
We love Boise and the downtown vibe. We love all that is offered downtown and love that people come from all over to visit Boise. It’s a fun place to be where there is a lot of action. We think it’s really important to ensure a community space like this has healthy, versatile options for people. We think Rush Bowls will offer a fantastic balance to this type of forum.
