Authentic Colombian Cuisine Brings Bold Flavor to Boise

BOISE, ID (December 19, 2025) - The Warehouse Food Hall is excited to introduce its latest vendor: El Cafetal, an authentic Colombian restaurant that features items made with soul, spice, and tradition. They offer everything from street-style snacks to slow-cooked classics. El Cafetal opens on December 22.

El Cafetal began when owners Maria Silva and Adriana Scarpetta arrived in Idaho in 2002. Their bold, authentic Colombian flavors quickly gained a loyal following, inspiring them to open their first restaurant and share their food with even more people. After a fire forced them to close temporarily, they made a strong comeback, reopening in Nampa in 2016, where they’ve been thriving ever since. Now, with their newest location at The Warehouse Food Hall, Maria and Adriana are excited to continue expanding El Cafetal’s reach and introducing even more guests to their vibrant cuisine.

“Being in a place like The Warehouse is an incredible opportunity for us, especially since a significant number of our customers live in Boise,” said Adriana Scarpetta, owner. “We’re excited about growing our community and continuing to share our story, culture and food with this vibrant city!”
