Neighbor Tim’s brings Texas style BBQ & southern hospitality to The Warehouse

Bodo’s newest neighbor: Neighbor Tim’s BBQ brings southern hospitality to the Warehouse

Come as strangers, leave as neighbors. That’s the goal of Neighbor Tim, who’s bringing his South Dakota roots along with his Texas-style BBQ to The Warehouse Food Hall. Using the finest prime-grade meat, Neighbor Tim’s smokes brisket, ribs, pork and other meats for up to 14 hours before pairing it with traditional side dishes all made from scratch.

After years of serving up his BBQ to dozens of friends on Sunday nights on his porch, Neighbor Tim decided to start his own catering business in 2020 to serve an even broader audience in the area and give them a taste of BBQ with a cowboy-flare that hasn’t been seen before in Boise. As one of the few genuine BBQ businesses in the area, Neighbor Tim is ready to get smoking at The Warehouse to provide guests with an authentic flavor that makes everyone feel like neighbors.

What would you say is unique about your business?

The first ingredient to our business is focusing with our whole heart on serving the guest. Everything entailed into Neighbor Tim’s BBQ is rooted off serving and paying attention to providing the best possible experience for our guests.

At The Warehouse, it’s going to be all about “Experience” and “Adventure” What do those two words mean to you? What does the word “Food Hall” mean to you?

I view the food hall as a communal gathering point to enjoy local variety. A food hall should be pumping and energetic - I envision The Warehouse to be high-traffic and high-energy.

Why do you want to be a part of The Warehouse?

Truthfully, I feel it is giving Neighbor Tim’s BBQ an opportunity to serve more guests. Our heart is serving others and I feel there is a great formula here to provide a hospitable experience with a variety of concepts.

Is there a particular vendor you are most excited about seeing at The Warehouse or partnering with?

I’m excited for Gaston’s Bakery as they have been an awesome fresh bread purveyor for Neighbor Tim’s BBQ.

In one word how would you describe The Warehouse Food Hall?

Lively.
