Anzalone Pizza brings the first Thai fusion pizza to Boise & The Warehouse Food Hall

When you think about pizza you may think of the classics: sausage, pepperoni, margherita. There’s nothing wrong with the traditional toppings, but Anzalone Pizza is adding a little bit of spice to their menu which fuses together the many flavors of Thai cuisine with the traditional techniques of making Neapolitan pizza.

Owner Tyler Anzalone has been tossing dough and perfecting the Anzalone recipe for over a decade. When his wife Kik moved to the U.S. they wanted to make their American dream come true by starting their own business. That’s when Anzalone Pizza food truck was born, bringing the first real Thai fusion pizza to The Treasure Valley. Anzalone Pizza uses hand-mixed dough made with local flour and high-quality yeast to give guests a crust that’s as close as it gets to Italy. The team is now ready to serve visitors of The Warehouse with unique flavors that include curry sauce, Thai flavored sausage and more!

We caught up with Tyler to learn more about Anzalone Pizza and The Warehouse Food Hall.

How did you get started?

Tony Anzalone, the father, and heart of Anzalone Pizza, invested in the first project to build the food truck while his son Tyler and his new daughter-in-law ran the business. From this, the family came together once again to reinvest in the newest project Anzalone Pizza.

What would you say is unique about your business?

We bring a unique Thai fusion to pizza that has yet to be established in the Treasure Valley.

At The Warehouse, it’s going to be all about “Experience” and “Adventure.” What do those two words mean to you?

Our experience is evident when you look at our product. From selecting the perfect ingredients to serving the final product, our experience is shown in every aspect of our business.

Adventure is our desire for something new and exciting. This is why Anzalone Pizza food truck is starting its newest adventure by opening Anzalone Pizza at The Warehouse. Food hall to us means a place to relax and enjoy high-end menu items from a variety of local & small chain businesses.

What got you interested in The Warehouse?

The Warehouse Food Hall is an opportunity for a small, adventurous business like ours to take a chance and show Boise our food and our true potential.

Why do you want to be a part of The Warehouse?

We want to be a part of something on the rise in a town that continues to be on the rise. As Boise grows, The Warehouse will grow, and we want to be right there in the heart of the action.

Is there a particular vendor you are most excited about seeing at The Warehouse or partnering with?

We're excited to see Wok N Roll Asian fusion opening a spot in The Warehouse with us.

In one word how would you describe The Warehouse Food Hall?

Balanced; The Warehouse has something for everyone.
